Homemade Sandwich Bread

“I love sandwiches. Let’s face it, life is better between two pieces of bread.”
~Jeff Mauro

Ingredients:
➼ 2 cups warm water
➼ 1.5 tablespoons yeast
➼ 1/3 cup of sugar
➼ 2 teaspoons salt
➼ 2 tablespoons oil
➼ 6-8 cups of bread flour

Directions:
1. Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water. Wait 5 minutes until a film and bubbles develop on the top. If there is no film, that means that your yeast is not active or you didn’t let it develop in a warm area.
2. Add in your salt, oil, and 3 cups of bread flour
3. Mix with your stand mixer for 5 minutes
4. Add in 1/2 cup of flour at a time until you get to 6-8 cups of flour and until the dough is pulling apart from the sides of the bowl. After this is finished, let it rise in a warm area. If you live in a cold home, you can put the bowl in the oven at 180 degrees. Let it rise for 1 hour or until the dough doubles in size.
5. Cut in half and roll it out. Roll it into two loaves and put it into two loaf pans and let it rise again for another hour.
6. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until it is golden brown.
7. Enjoy!
